What this tool does
Measures your internet connection speed - download throughput, upload throughput, latency, and jitter - using our own test servers. No Flash, no plugins.

When to use

How it works
- 1Click Start; the browser uploads and downloads test payloads.
- 2Latency is measured with repeated HEAD requests.
- 3Jitter is the standard deviation of latency samples.
- 4Results show Mbps for download/upload and ms for latency/jitter.
Tips
- •Run tests 3 times at different moments - single tests can be noisy.
- •Background downloads/streams skew results - close other tabs.
- •For gaming, latency and jitter matter more than raw throughput.
