What this tool does

Builds a complete scheduled task configuration from a plain-English schedule + a command. Returns the cron expression, a human-readable description, next execution times, and 9 ready-to-use output formats: Unix crontab, cPanel, systemd .timer + .service, Kubernetes CronJob, Laravel Scheduler, GitHub Actions workflow, Docker/Swarm, and Windows Task Scheduler.

Who it's for: Developers and sysadmins working across Unix, containers, CI/CD, and PaaS who need a working cron config without looking up syntax for each platform.

When to use

  • •Deploy the same scheduled task to cPanel and Kubernetes without rewriting.
  • •Generate a GitHub Actions scheduled workflow from an existing cron expression.
  • •Decode a crontab line to verify what it actually runs.
  • •Migrate jobs between Laravel Scheduler and systemd timers.

How it works

  1. 1Describe the schedule (or paste a cron expression to explain).
  2. 2Enter the command, working directory, user, log path, and timezone.
  3. 3AI produces all 9 output formats in a single request.
  4. 4Switch between tabs to copy the format you need.

Tips

  • •Always specify the timezone - cron runs in the server's local TZ by default.
  • •Redirect stdout/stderr (>> /path/to/log 2>&1) to avoid silent failures.
  • •On systemd, prefer timers over cron for better logging and dependency handling.
